Seasonal fitting for homes and businesses

Christmas Decoration Fitting in Leicester

Put up with care. Taken down in January.

Enjoy the display without spending your own weekend balancing, fixing and untangling. A–Z can fit suitable customer-supplied Christmas decorations indoors, outdoors and along safely accessible fascia boards at homes and smaller business premises, then return in January to take them down carefully.

Festive help for the home

Suitable work can include assembling an artificial tree, positioning and securing garlands, hanging wreaths, fitting window lights and arranging modest doorway or ground-level garden decorations. The products, intended positions and fixing surfaces are checked before the work is agreed.

Fascia and above-ground Christmas lights

Ask about fitting outdoor Christmas lights along suitable fascia boards, porch edges or other above-ground positions. Jamie assesses the working height, ground conditions, access, fixing points, weather and suitable access equipment before confirming the job. Suitable ladder-access work may be considered where a ladder is appropriate for the task, but it is not assumed suitable for every display. Installation and later removal both need practical, safe access; photos support an initial assessment and an on-site check may still be needed.

A practical option for local businesses

Shops, offices, salons, receptions and other smaller premises can ask about customer-supplied trees, entrance garlands, internal lights, window displays and suitable fascia-level lights. Include opening hours, access rules and the quietest working period with the enquiry. Outdoor or above-ground fitting is agreed only after the same access and product checks.

Arrange the put-up and take-down together

If you already know you will want help again in January, ask about both visits at the start. The installation, likely removal time and sensible packing plan can then be considered together, subject to diary availability.

Send the display before Jamie arrives

WhatsApp wide photos of the doorway, room, window or full frontage, close photos or product links for the decorations, the postcode and your preferred week. For fascia or other above-ground lights, include the approximate fitting height, fixing points and clear photos of the ground and access below. Show the intended existing power supply and cable route too.

Safe, clearly limited seasonal work

A–Z offers temporary decorative fitting, including suitable above-ground work after assessment, not specialist high-access or electrical installation. Roof walking, roof ridges, chimneys, tree climbing and work requiring scaffold towers or powered access are outside this service. New sockets, permanent wiring, repairs to damaged light sets and electrical testing or certification are not included. If the lights or supply are of uncertain condition, have them checked by a qualified electrician before fitting. Unsuitable weather, access or fixing points may mean postponing or declining the work.

Typical jobs

Practical Christmas displays fitted for homes and smaller premises.

Ground-level and suitable above-ground fitting, including fascia lights, are considered after checking the display, working height and full access area. Jamie confirms the scope and any suitable access equipment before a visit, and separates practical fitting from jobs needing specialist access or electrical work.

Questions about this service

How is Christmas decoration fitting priced?

Straightforward suitable work may use the normal £70 first-hour rate and £35 per additional 30 minutes. Larger displays, business premises and combined installation-and-removal packages are assessed and quoted separately. Materials are additional.

Do you supply the decorations?

The service is primarily for suitable customer-supplied decorations that are complete, undamaged and accompanied by any manufacturer instructions. Discuss any required clips, fixings or small consumable materials before the visit.

Can you put up outdoor Christmas lights?

Yes, suitable outdoor displays can include doorway, garden and safely accessible fascia lights. Lights and leads must be intended for outdoor use, undamaged and used through a suitable existing RCD-protected supply in accordance with their instructions. The products, fixing points, cable route and access are checked before fitting is agreed.

Can you fit Christmas lights to fascia boards above ground?

Yes, suitable fascia boards, porch edges and other above-ground positions may be considered after Jamie assesses the height, access, ground conditions, fixing points, equipment and weather. Send full-frontage photos and an approximate height. Photos support an initial assessment; an on-site check may still be needed before the job is accepted.

Do you walk on roofs or fit chimney displays?

No. Fascia-level fitting from assessed suitable access is different from walking on a roof. Roof walking, roof ridges, chimneys, tree climbing and specialist installations requiring scaffold towers or powered access are outside this service.

Can I arrange January take-down at the same time?

Yes. Ask about installation and take-down together so both visits, likely time and packing expectations can be discussed, subject to availability.

Can you decorate a shop or office?

Suitable customer-supplied trees, reception displays, window lights, entrance garlands and safely accessible fascia lights for smaller premises may be considered after access, operating hours, products and fixing points have been checked.
