What is property maintenance?

Property maintenance means keeping a home, rental or business premises usable through everyday repairs, adjustments, replacement fittings and practical upkeep. A–Z handles suitable jobs such as sticking doors, cupboard repairs, minor accessible plumbing, sealant, gutter maintenance and fence repairs. Gas work, specialist electrical installation or certification, roof repairs and structural work need the appropriate specialist.

How much does a maintenance visit cost?

A standard maintenance visit costs £70 for the first hour. Additional time is £35 per 30 minutes. Materials are additional, and larger work is quoted separately.

Which areas do your property maintenance services cover?

Jamie is based in LE3 and normally works across Leicester and nearby Leicestershire villages within roughly 12 miles of LE3, including Leicester Forest East, Glenfield, Kirby Muxloe, Groby and Anstey. Can I combine repairs with new fitting work?

Yes. Send the complete list, including product links or photos for anything new, and A–Z will plan as much suitable work as reasonably possible for the visit.

Do larger jobs have to run at the hourly maintenance rate?

No. Full kitchen and bathroom installations, media walls and suitable larger projects are assessed separately. Jamie agrees the scope and provides a fixed written quotation, including any specialist involvement, rather than treating a whole project as an open-ended maintenance visit.

Do you undertake gas work?

No. A–Z does not undertake gas work. If a repair needs a Gas Safe registered engineer, we will tell you clearly.
