A repair visit or a project: choose what you need
A loose hinge or a mixed household job list usually calls for a maintenance visit. Replacing a kitchen, fitting a bathroom or building a feature wall needs a different conversation: measurements, preparation, products, finishing and the time needed to complete the work. Both types of enquiry are welcome; a larger installation is not simply an unlimited hourly visit.
Kitchens and bathrooms, planned around the property
Ask about fitting a customer-supplied kitchen, replacing a bathroom suite or refreshing a rental property between tenancies. Jamie checks the layout, existing conditions, access and products before the scope is agreed. Preparation, tiling, worktops, fittings, disposal and specialist services are included only where the quotation says they are.
Bespoke work, not just items out of a box
Media walls, acoustic and decorative wall panelling, fitted storage, timber structures and other well-defined carpentry projects can be discussed from photos, measurements and ideas. The nursery play structure pictured below is an example of Jamie’s past bespoke timber work. A new public-use or play project would need its own agreed design, suitability checks and responsibilities; a photograph is not a safety certificate.
Wall building and outdoor improvements
A new garden wall, replacement wall section, brickwork or a defined outdoor improvement can be assessed as a separately quoted project. Dimensions, ground conditions, access, drainage and the purpose of the wall matter. Structural or retaining elements and any necessary design or approvals are addressed with the appropriate specialists before work is accepted.
One clear plan, with the right people involved
You deal directly with Jamie about the installation. He does not undertake gas work, and he brings in appropriately qualified gas, electrical and other trades when the agreed project requires them. The written scope identifies who is doing what, what is included and how any unexpected conditions or customer changes will be handled.
Send enough detail for a useful first conversation
WhatsApp your postcode, a wider view of the room or outdoor area, approximate dimensions and a short description of what you want. Product links, a kitchen plan or media-wall inspiration can help. Photos support the initial discussion; measuring and a site assessment may be needed before a firm quotation is possible.
