Focused repairs
Suitable jobs can include a limited number of damaged bricks, local pointing, small wall repairs, minor blockwork, steps and making good around other work.
Brickwork and small building repairs
A–Z offers practical small-scale masonry repair and building upkeep, with modest non-structural additions considered where the ground, load and surrounding work are suitable.

Suitable jobs can include a limited number of damaged bricks, local pointing, small wall repairs, minor blockwork, steps and making good around other work.

A short non-structural wall return, local step, edging detail or limited blockwork addition may be considered as a separate quoted scope. Foundations, retaining work and anything carrying structural load need the appropriate specialist design and contractor.
Cracking, movement or a leaning wall may indicate a wider issue. A–Z will not disguise a structural concern with a cosmetic repair and may recommend specialist assessment.
Typical jobs
Local damage can often be made good without rebuilding an entire wall. A small wall return, step or edging detail may also be considered when the ground, loading and surrounding work are suitable.
Isolated damaged or spalled bricks removed and replaced where suitable
Small areas of failed pointing raked out and repointed
Loose bricks and local damage to non-structural garden walls
Minor blockwork repairs and small areas of masonry making good
Loose coping stones, caps and limited wall-top repairs
Small doorstep, riser and masonry edge repairs
Making good around suitable vents, pipes or removed fittings
Minor mortar cracks assessed for an appropriate local repair
Short non-structural wall returns, local steps or edging additions assessed
Make one visit useful
Send one photo of the full wall or step and another of the damaged area. That helps distinguish an isolated defect from movement affecting a larger section.
A loose brick, failed jointing and wall-top detail assessed together.
Limited masonry damage around an entrance grouped into one repair plan.
Small holes or disturbed masonry repaired after suitable fittings or services work.
