Full kitchen fitting Leicester

Kitchen Fitting in Leicester

A new kitchen is a planned installation, not just a series of cupboard repairs. Jamie fits kitchens in Leicester and nearby Leicestershire, working from your plans and chosen products to agree the preparation, installation and finish. The project receives a fixed written quotation after assessment.

Jamie’s kitchen installation with fitted cabinets, dark worktops and a sink

Kitchen installation supplied by Jamie. Protective film and labels remain on the cabinets.

Start with your kitchen plan and the existing room

Send the kitchen supplier’s layout, product list, room photos and postcode. Cabinet dimensions, worktop runs, appliance positions and the condition of floors and walls affect how the kitchen will fit. Jamie checks measurements and access before confirming the installation rather than pricing a complete kitchen from one photograph.

Cabinets, worktops and the finishing details

The agreed installation can include base and wall units, tall cabinets, doors, drawers, fillers, end panels, plinths and handles. Suitable laminate worktops, joints and cut-outs can be planned alongside the units. Specialist stone or quartz worktops need the appropriate fabricator; the quote makes those arrangements clear.

  • Base units, wall cabinets and tall housings
  • Cabinet alignment, doors, drawers and hardware
  • Agreed worktop installation and finishing trims
  • Suitable splashback, tiling and making-good work by agreement

Preparation and connected services are part of the discussion

Removal of the old kitchen, repairs to supporting surfaces, waste disposal and decoration are not assumed to be included: each is agreed in the scope. Gas appliances are handled by a suitably qualified Gas Safe registered engineer. Where electrical changes or other specialist services are required, Jamie brings in the appropriate trades and agrees responsibility before work begins.

Practical kitchen replacements for rental properties

Landlords and letting agents can discuss replacing a worn kitchen between tenancies or planning a more substantial upgrade. Durable finishes, product availability, tenant access and the desired completion date can be considered together. Tell Jamie whether the property is vacant or occupied and which parts of the existing kitchen you intend to keep.

A defined project price, not a running hourly bill

The fixed quotation sets out the included installation work, materials or customer-supplied products, specialist elements and exclusions. Timing and any payment stages are agreed before acceptance. If hidden damage or a requested change affects the scope, Jamie explains the options and obtains agreement before extra chargeable work proceeds.

Questions about this service

Will the project be charged at the maintenance hourly rate?

No. These projects are assessed and given a fixed written quotation for the agreed scope. The maintenance visit rate is for suitable everyday repairs and fitting, not an open-ended price for a full installation. The quote identifies included labour, materials, specialist involvement and any exclusions. Changes are discussed and agreed before additional chargeable work proceeds.

Can you fit a kitchen I have already bought?

Yes. Send the supplier’s plan, component list, worktop and appliance details before confirming an installation date. Measurements, completeness, condition and delivery need checking, and any missing or unsuitable parts are discussed first.

Do you supply the kitchen as well?

Discuss sourcing with Jamie before assuming products are included. The quotation will identify exactly what A–Z supplies and what you supply, including cabinets, worktops, appliances, fittings and any specialist services.

Who handles gas, electrics and other specialist work?

Jamie does not carry out gas work. Where an agreed project needs gas, electrical or another specialist trade, he brings in appropriately qualified tradespeople. Their involvement, responsibilities and any required checks are agreed as part of the project scope before work starts.

Do I need a full installation if only a cupboard or drawer is damaged?

No. The existing kitchen repair service remains available for hinges, drawers, handles, individual cabinets and other focused jobs. A worktop-only replacement can also be measured and quoted separately.

Where do you take on installation projects?

A–Z is based in LE3 and typically works across Leicester and nearby Leicestershire within around 12 miles. Larger planned projects slightly farther away may be considered by arrangement. Send the postcode with the project details.
